PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproofing agent for cement which can improve water-repellency, water absorption resistance and water permeation resistance of a cement hardened body, and has no fear of reducing the efficiency of the placing work and of degrading physical properties of a cement hardened body. SOLUTION: The waterproofing agent for cement of this invention is characterized by comprising 60-75 wt.% of a potassium salt of a 12-14C fatty acid and 25-40 wt.% of a potassium salt of a 16-18C fatty acid.
