PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dynamic pressure air bearing device having a size similar to that of a bearing oil type dynamic pressure bearing device and performance equal to the rigidity and loading performance thereof. SOLUTION: The dynamic pressure air bearing device comprises a bearing sleeve 5 and a bearing plate 6 joined to a fixed shaft 1, a cavity axisymmetrically formed between the shaft 1 and each of the bearing sleeve 5 and the bearing plate 6, a rotatable member 2 having a rotating cylindrical portion 3 and a rotating disc 4 and rotatably stored in the cavity, a bearing gap 16 provided between the surface of the rotatable member 2 and the opposite surface, inner periphery side radial bearings 10, 11 formed between the shaft 1 and the rotating cylindrical portion 3, outer periphery side radial bearings 12, 13 formed between the rotating cylindrical portion 3 and the bearing sleeve 5, and thrust bearings 14, 15 formed between the surface of the rotating disc 4 and each of the opposed surfaces of the bearing sleeve 5 and the bearing plate 6.
