PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a winding type screen device capable of engaging and disengaging an operating rail in the closed position of a screen with extremely simple constitution and having excellent operability. SOLUTION: A locking mechanism for locking the operating rail 3 into the closed position of the screen is composed of a locking claw 8 projected into an initial position in a guide groove 7 from the front wall 7a side of a guide frame 5 toward the rear wall 7b side and capable of elastically advancing/retreating between the initial position and a retreat position on the front wall 7a side, and a locking part 9 provided at the upper end of the operating rail 3 and engaged with and disengaged from the locking claw 8.
