<p>The present invention is based on a problem of how to recover reusable raw materials - either in the process of production of candles or in other industrial processes - from used burnt-out candles (2) consisting of remnants of burning elements (23) available in plastic sheath envelopes (21) and fitted with metal caps (22), in as simple and effective way as possible, without burdening of the environment and with as little energy as possible. A device according to the invention comprises at least an appliance (11) for transport of candles (2) foreseen for recycling from a container (10) to an appliance (13) for arranging and aligning envelopes (21) of candles (2) foreseen for recycling at least essentially into a coaxial position one after another and with regard to a splitting device (12) comprising a splitting appliance (120) for separating longitudinally parts (21', 21'') of the envelopes (21), divided at least essentially in the diametral plane of candles (2).</p> |
