<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a fuel cell separator having enough gas impermeability by simple manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the fuel cell separator includes steps: preparing a starting powder (step S100); making a slurry by homogeneously mixing the starting powder (step S110); granulating (step S120); putting the granulated starting powder into a metal mould (step S130); and heat press forming (step S140). A mixed combination of a phenol resin and an epoxy resin are used as a binder in the starting powder added to a carbon powder. No gas is generated therefor from the binder in the step of the heat press forming, so that the separator having enough gas impermeability can be manufactured. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
