<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase pump efficiency by stopping the inflow of a leaked hydraulic oil to a low pressure side while reducing a tip clearance. <P>SOLUTION: In this inscribed type gear pump, first and second ports 7 and 8 forming a suction side and a discharge side according to whether the pump is rotating normally or reversely are formed at symmetrical positions with respect to an axis X connecting a closed part 20 where the volume of a pump chamber 6 formed between the inner and outer teeth of outer and inner rotors 3 and 4 is maximized to a meshed part 21 where the volume is minimized. First and second oil grooves 22 and 23 leading a high-pressure oil through first and second communication passages 24 and 25 are formed in the outer peripheral surface of a cam ring 12 near the closed part. First and second check valves 26 and 26a allowing the inflow of the high-pressure oil only in the oil groove directions are installed in the other end opening parts 24b and 24b of the communication passages. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
