<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dictionary registration device for registering words including a plurality of types of characters in a dictionary. <P>SOLUTION: This dictionary registration device is provided with: a dictionary storing means for storing a dictionary 121 for storing words; a morphemic analyzing part 102 for performing the morphemic analysis of an input document, and for extracting unknown words; an unknown word range extending part 103 for generating an extended unknown word by connecting at least one of words before and after the unknown word to the unknown word; a partial matching retrieving part 104 for retrieving an already registered word registered in the dictionary being a word whose notation is matched with the notation of the extended part of the unknown word; a notation similarity judging part 105 for judging the similarity of the notation based on the character attributes of the notation of the part equivalent to the unknown word among the already registered words and the the character attributes of the notation of the unknown word; and a dictionary registering part 106 for registering the extended unknown word in the dictionary when it is judged that the notation of the part equivalent to the unknown word among the already registered words is similar to the notation of the unknown word by the notation similarity judging part 105. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
