<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a leak detector for liquid in a tank to detect a leak with satisfactory accuracy and sensitivity over a wide leakage range. <P>SOLUTION: A flow sensor part annexed to a measurement tubule 13b includes temperature sensors 133 and 134, and an indirectly-heated sensor 135. A leak detection control part, being connected to a pressure sensor 137 for liquid-level measurement and to the sensor part, comprises a voltage generation circuit 67 for impressing a voltage on a heater 163 of the indirectly-heated sensor, a first leak detection circuit 71, and a second leak detection circuit for generating an output corresponding to a temperature sensed by the indirectly-heated sensor 135. The first leak detection using an output of the first leak detection circuit, the second leak detection using an output of the pressure sensor, and the third leak detection using the output of the second leak detection circuit, are performed to output the result of at least one detection among them. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
