<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nutrient injection method capable of preparing an environment in which microorganism can easily inhabit and purifying the environment in a simple execution in an aquifer through which groundwater flows at an original position where a hazardous contaminant (an organic chloride compound) flows into ground. <P>SOLUTION: Injection wells 6 of nutrient are provided at at least one or more positions upstream of the groundwater in a contaminated area 1 contaminated with the hazardous contaminant (an organic chloride compound), a container 9 in which a mixture 12 of the nutrient, sand soil and calcium carbonate is filled is hung up in the vicinity of the border of a stratus of an upper silt lamina 3 and the aquifer 4, a temperature of the groundwater is increased by utilizing heating effect triggered by a chemical reaction of calcium carbonate and moisture the sand soil has in the container 9, and the nutrient can be also easily eluted to maintain and sustain the environment in which the microorganism (anaerobic microorganism) inhabits. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
