<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing system, a printer, a printer control program and a printer control method, allowing the printer to acquire print data from another printer without interposing a printer server. <P>SOLUTION: This printing system 1 includes: an information processor 2 generating first print instruction information including the print data and user information, and transmitting the first print instruction information to a first printer 3; the first printer 3 performing authentication processing on the basis of print requirement information from a second printer 4 and the first print instruction information, deciding whether the transmission of the print data is possible or not, and transmitting the print data to the second printer 4 when deciding that the transmission is possible; and the second printer 4 transmitting the print requirement information based on second print instruction information to the first printer 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
