PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel electronic seismic sensor capable of detecting only the seismic vibration by effectively preventing the occurrence of erroneous motion because of detection of various mechanical vibration. SOLUTION: The seismic sensor is provided with a base member 2 and an acceleration sensor 6 for detecting the vibration, in which the acceleration sensor 6 is fixed with a weight 5 of higher load heavier than the acceleration sensor 6, and between the base member 2 and the weight 5 vibration damping materials 3, and 4 are interposed inbetween and the acceleration sensor 6 and the weight 5 are supported by the vibration damping material 3, and 4.
