PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a photographer to easily discriminate what ranging point is usable in a camera adopting an automatic focusing system having multipoint ranging points. SOLUTION: The camera has a plurality of detection sensors 24a-24f which are arranged in a plurality of positions in a screen and detect defocusing amounts of a plurality of parts in the screen by a phase detection system and a display device which displays by what detection sensor among the plurality of detection sensors the defocusing amounts can be detected according to a state of the camera.
