LIGHT EMITTING UNIT AND IMAGING APPARATUS USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small light-emitting unit. SOLUTION: The light emitting unit includes: a flash main body 102; a Fresnel lens section 103 for condensing light from the flash main body 102 in almost one direction; and a front decorative section 105 formed from a light transmissive material and covering the flash main body 102. A translucent section covering parts other than the Fresnel lens section 103 is integrally formed with the front decorative section 105, thereby eliminating the need for a light shield member.
