PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a jacket to manufacture a conveying belt without generating a crack even if being repeatedly utilized and also without transferring a ramp or the like on the surface. SOLUTION: The jacket 1 for manufacturing the conveying belt is manufactured by winding an unvulcanized sheet 4 round a mold 3 having a network pattern to make an endless preliminary sleeve 5 provided with the network pattern 2, and further winding to stack a rubber sheet 7 outside the preliminary sleeve 5 to vulcanize and integrate the rubber sheet 7.
