PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double-sided mirror which is excellent in fanciness and design and can prevent the corrosion of a specular surface membrane, and its production method. SOLUTION: The double-sided mirror is a structure comprised of a first transparent glass plate 1 having the specular membrane 3 formed on one surface and a second transparent glass plate 2 plastered on the surface of the first transparent glass plate 1 at the side of the specular surface membrane through a transparent adhesive agent layer 4, wherein the specular membrane 3 is formed on the surface of the first transparent glass plate 1 except the whole of a periphery surface section 1a and a peripheral end surface 6 of the structure is made to be a polished surface.
