PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal output apparatus and a signal output method which perform multiplexing synchronized accurately for inputted signals of a plurality of systems to output the resultant. SOLUTION: When it is detected that first and second signals of quantity which can be reproduction-processed by first and second signal processing parts 15, 22 are accumulated in first and second input buffers 14, 21 respectively, start of reproduction-processing is requested to the first and the second signal processing parts 15, 22, and start of multiplexing processing of the first and the second signals which are reproduction-processed by the signal processing parts 15, 22 is requested to a multiplexing processing part 17 based on time information included in the first signal.
