PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical recording medium recording apparatus which reduces a land prepit (LPP) detection error of an optical recording medium. SOLUTION: The optical recording medium recording apparatus includes: an output section for comparing a signal extracted from reflection light of a light beam with a slice level to detect address information and outputting the address information as an address signal; an address correcting section which makes a part of the address signal outputted from the output section into a predetermined value; and a reference level changing section which changes the slice level if it is determined, by an error determination or continuity determination of a block address, that there is no error in the address signal outputted from the output section and corrected by the address correcting section.
