PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an animation production device and an animation production method, producing an animation performing motion desired by a user by properly synchronizing a plurality of pieces of basic motion data corresponding to a verb included in an inputted scenario. SOLUTION: By synchronizing and composing the plurality of pieces of basic motion data corresponding to the verb included in the inputted scenario according to a modification degree of a verb modifier included in a text, composed motion corresponding to the verb modifier and the verb included in the text is generated, and the animation is produced by use of the composed motion.
