PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance security and safety by allowing a resident who is an elevator call operation source, to visually confirm the situation in a car elevated by elevator call operation performed by a living room master unit. SOLUTION: Cars 21a, 21b are elevated to the floors where living room master units of elevator call operation sources exist, by the call control of an elevator controller out of an interphone controller 24 and the elevator controller 23 detecting the elevator call operation from living room master units 11a, 11b,..., 12a, 12b,..., and images picked up by monitoring cameras 210 in the elevated cars are displayed on the living room master units of the elevator call operation sources and on hall monitors 22a, 22b installed on elevator halls of the floors at which the cars arrive, by the control of the interphone controller.
