PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer for a memory pack which can charge a secondary battery in the memory pack. SOLUTION: A loading chamber 210 in which the memory pack 1 with the secondary battery and a memory card can be loaded is provided in a laboratory printer 2. When the memory pack 1 is loaded into the loading chamber 210, an image based on image data recorded in the memory card in the memory pack 1 is developed and the secondary battery in the memory pack 1 is charged, and a photograph in which the image based on the image data is printed and the memory pack with the fully charged secondary battery are returned to a user.
