PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording method whereby high-definition image recording can be carried out by preventing generation of differences of a color tone and an impression of gloss at every band in a main scanning direction, and to provide an inkjet recorder. SOLUTION: The inkjet recorder is equipped with a recording head 6 which ejects onto a recording medium P a photo-curing type ink that is cured by irradiation of light, an ultraviolet irradiator which applies ultraviolet rays to the ejected ink, a carriage driving mechanism 11 which scans the recording head 6 back and forth in a direction orthogonal to a transfer direction X of the recording medium P, and a control part 8 which controls the carriage driving mechanism 11 to form one band by scanning the recording head 7 back and forth by a plurality of the number of times, and at the same time which controls the recording head 6 to lessen an ink ejection amount ejected from the recording head 6 in the final scan of the reciprocative scanning necessary for forming one band.
