<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document management server client system which enables all users, who store data, to easily become data managers while ensuring security. <P>SOLUTION: A document management system comprises at least one database which can store document electronic data, and at least one client terminal which is connected to the database via a network to allow remote access to the database. In this case, the document management system is provided with a means which stores document electronic data in the database, a means which selects a user from registered users, a means which informs the selected user of electronic information in which an access method to the document electronic data stored in the database is described, a means which changes the access right of the selected user just as the electronic information is notified, a means which registers the term of validity of the access right to be changed, and a means which changes the access right after the term of validity expires. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
