<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal recording material which has a high sensitivity and excels in storage stability of a recorded image and in a light-transmitting property (transparency). <P>SOLUTION: A thermal recording layer containing a developer expressed by general formula (1) is provided on a polymeric substrate being transparent substantially, and a haze value of the layer is made 65% or less. In the formula, R<SP>1</SP>-R<SP>4</SP>are each a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, an aralkyl group or a phenyl group independently (the total of the number of carbons of R<SP>1</SP>-R<SP>4</SP>=2-9) and M a metal ion of an n value (n=1-3). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
