<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grain-oriented electromagnetic steel sheet having the deviation of magnetic properties effectiely reduced in a steel sheet which has been concerned to be increased when the steel sheet is subjected to sulfur-increasing treatment. <P>SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing the grain-oriented electromagnetic steel sheet includes a step for performing sulfur increasing treatment on the steel sheet before the steel sheet completes secondary recrystallization in a finish annealing step by the use of a separation agent for annealing containing mainly magnesia and added sulfide and/or sulfate, wherein the separation agent for annealing applied to an inner curled part of a coil contains a higher concentration of the sulfide and/or the sulfate than the separation agent applied to the outer curled part of the coil, by 50% or more but 400% or less. Thereby, a difference between the maximum value and the minimum value of an increased sulfur content in the coil when the steel sheet reaches a temperature of 800°C in a heating step is controlled to 30 ppm or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
