<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate failures caused by the piling-up of printed matters on a paper ejection tray or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus 1 is provided with a data processing part, an image forming part 7, a memory 5b, a data reading part, and a display part 17. Output data to be outputted to paper is generated by the data processing part, and also, dots included in the output data in this case are counted by the data processing parts. The output data is outputted by the image forming part 7 to the paper. The number of dots in the output data outputted to the paper is stored by the memory 5b while correlating the number of dots to the user name as a transmitter and a job reservation time. The output data outputted to the paper is read by the data reading part, and also, the number of dots included in the output data in this case is counted by the data reading part.
