<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the brake operation force with a self-assisting action. <P>SOLUTION: A brake device for a vehicle is equipped with a master cylinder 7 to generate a liquid pressure when a press is given by a push rod 3, a stroke simulator 9 to make elastic contraction when the liquid pressure generated by the master cylinder 7 is transmitted and to advance an output rod 5 in association with the elastic contraction, and a brake pedal 1 which is structured so that a pedal pad 1a to input a pedal stamping force of the driver is formed at one end, the middle part between this end and the other end is borne rotatably by the push rod 3 through a crevice 2, and the other end is borne rotatably by the output rod 5 through a crevice 5, and whose rotation round the crevice 2 as fulcrum in the same direction as the input of the pedal stamping force is assisted by the advance of the output rod 5 in association with the elastic contraction of the stroke simulator 9 when the pedal stamping force is applied to the pedal pad 1a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
