<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple quality measuring instrument of wheat particles, capable of measuring the quality of wheat particles in a short time. <P>SOLUTION: The quality measuring instrument for the wheat particles is constituted of a light source (1) for irradiating the wheat particles with near infrared rays with a specific range of a wavelength from below, a camera box (4) for receiving the light transmitted through the wheat particles in the irradiated light to convert the received transmitted light into an electrical signal corresponding to the quantity of the transmitted light to output the electrical signal, a luminance distribution counter (5) for receiving the electric signal, corresponding to the quantity of the transmitted light from the camera box and measuring the same by luminance, to form the histogram to the brightness and a calculator (6) for newly measuring the quantity distribution of the transmitted light by using the correlation of the known quantity value of transmitted light and viscosity measured by a Falling number method, to calculate the estimated FN value of the wheat particles. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
