<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system controller and a system control method for enhancing possibility of restoration from a synchronous error between SCs during snoop processing. <P>SOLUTION: The system controller is provided with local port parts 11 each for retaining a memory access request received from the outside and for outputting it again according to an error retry instruction, a broadcast output part 12 for broadcasting the memory access request, a broadcast input part 21 for receiving the broadcast memory access request, global port parts 22 for retaining the received memory access request, and a snoop control part 23 which transmits/receives a cache status as the result of execution of snoop processing, detects the synchronous error based on the cache status, and outputs an error retry instruction to the local port parts 11 retaining the memory access request having resulted in the synchronous error. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
