<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems that a surge absorbing element such as a varister is used as a static electricity preventing means, because a high voltage of static electricity causes a semiconductor device such as an IC or an LSI to be destructed or the characteristic of the device to be deteriorated; application of a surge absorbing element such as a varister to a high-speed signal handling circuit causes the signal to be deteriorated because the surge absorbing element has a stray capacitance component and a stay inductance component; and a surge absorbing element having a good characteristic cannot be applied to a high-speed signal application, because a stray capacitance and a control voltage/energy resistance have a tradeoff relation. <P>SOLUTION: A surge absorbing circuit cancels the influence of a stray capacitance component of a surge absorbing element by utilizing a mutual inductive element or the like. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
