PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the convenience of a synthesized image file by attaching photographing information to the synthesized image file. SOLUTION: When one synthetic image is generated by joining a plurality of images, synthetic image data CDp is generated from image data stored in an image data storage region 40 for an image file Fp of images A to C, and the synthetic image data CDp is stored in an image data storage region 50 of a synthetic image file CFp. In contrast, "camera information" and " "photographing date" are extracted from an adjunct data storage region 42 of a reference image file Fp (image B) that is a reference when synthetic processing of "super wide photographic synthesis" is performed, and the "camera information" and "photographing date" are stored in an adjunct data storage region 52 of the synthetic image file CFp. In consequence, there is prepared the synthetic image file CFp in which the synthetic image data CDp and the adjunct data equipped with the"camera information" and "photographing date" are associated.
