PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable only a user registered beforehand to a network side to access the network while maintaining very high security. SOLUTION: Biometric information for biometrics authentification of the user 1A and access authentification information required for network access and defined for every user are stored in a memory (external storage medium) of an electronic circuit carried in a disk. When the disk is driven, the biometric information is acquired from the user by the biometrics authentification means 11E, and compared with the biometric information stored in the electronic circuit (external storage medium). When both information are in agreement, the access authentification information stored in the electronic circuit (external storage medium) is sent out to the network side. At the network side, the user is determined whether the user is the authorized user based on received access authentification information.
