PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blower apparatus wherein its blowing performance is enhanced by reducing the noise generated by interference of the air stream passing through the crosspieces of a blowout grille with the crosspieces and short-circuiting is precluded by suppressing a spread of the blown-out air stream to a wide range. SOLUTION: The chord line 7a of the section perpendicular to the axial direction of the first crosspiece 7 is inclined to the passing direction of the air stream from the rotary shaft direction 9 of a fan at least in the neighborhood of the circumference which centers on the rotary shaft 1a of a propeller fan and where the wind speed of the air stream blown out of the propeller fan maximizes. Further the inclining angle of the chord line 7a in the neighborhood of the circumference where the wind speed maximizes to the crosspiece located nearer the rotary shaft 1a of the fan is made greater than the angle to the crosspiece located farther from the rotary shaft 1a in the distance in the perpendicular direction to the axis of the first crosspiece 7.
