PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a media object providing method for enabling a media object providing server side to designate the acceptance/rejection of storage processing in a reusable state in an mobile communication terminal for each media object of a download target, and also provide the mobile communication terminal and the media object providing server. SOLUTION: The mobile communication terminal 10 transmits a media object acquisition request for requesting a media object download to the media object providing server 50. The server 50 receives the media object acquisition request transmitted from the mobile communication terminal and writes storage acceptance/rejection information for designating the acceptance/rejection of storing a media object in the mobile communication terminal in a media object acquisition response that responds to the media object acquisition request. The server 50 transmits the media object acquisition response with the storage acceptance/rejection information written therein as well as the media object to the mobile communication terminal.
