PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ejector comprising a head member having a plurality of nozzle openings in which more accurate liquid ejection from each nozzle opening can be ensured. SOLUTION: The liquid ejector comprises a head member having a plurality of nozzle openings, a plurality of means for ejecting liquid at each nozzle opening while varying the pressure, and a means for outputting a drive signal to each pressure varying means based on ejection date. A liquid ejection quantity acquiring section acquires the liquid ejection quantity from each nozzle opening based on the number of nozzle openings which eject liquid simultaneously at the time of ejecting the liquid from the nozzle openings.
