PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method capable of manufacturing bobbinless coils with the minimum quantity of components and the minimum number of man-hours. SOLUTION: A conductor wire 65 is wound on a cylindrical bobbin tool 64 that is formed to be slit into its circumferential direction in the shape of a coil, the diameter of the bobbin tool 64 is extended to compress the conductor wire 65 in the circumferential direction, and the conductor wire 65 is also compressed in an axial line direction by mutually approaching a pair of support plates 63, 63 to the bobbin tool 64 to form the bobbinless coil 46 by compressing and deforming the conductor wire 65 up to its plasticity region. Thereafter, the bobbin tool 64 is parted from the bobbinless coil 46. Thus, this method prevents the conductor wire 65 from getting loose while reducing the number of components and the cost by eliminating the need for using a bobbin and an adhesive layer attached tape, and the inner diameter, the resistance, and the inductance of the bobbinless coil 46 can be decreased by that much of elimination of the bobbin, resulting in enhancing the current response performance.
