PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a genetic algorithm based optimization processing method being sometimes unable to readily reach an optimal solution in order to avoid remaining at a local solution. SOLUTION: The optimization processing method is for obtaining an optimal solution by forming a plurality of islands each with a plurality of individuals, applying a genetic algorithm to the plurality of islands, and repeating the crossover, mutation, evaluation and selection of the individuals until desired requirements are met.
