PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device, an image display method and an image display program which facilitate the confirmation of a preliminarily extracted feature image under predetermined extraction conditions among a plurality of stored images. SOLUTION: The image display device 4 is provided with: a display part 30 having a feature image display area on which the feature images in an image group Pa are displayed; an input part 20 which outputs selection information by selecting a desired feature image among the feature images displayed in the feature image display area; an image extraction part 53 which extracts the selection image which is the feature image selected in the selection information among the image group Pa and a circumferential image which is an image having at least one of frame numbers before and after the selection image; and a display control part 52 which displays the selection image and the circumferential image extracted by the image extraction part 53 on the display part 30 in place of the feature image selected in the selection information.
