PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device which prevents damage of a display element, light transmission plate, sheet, etc., being components of the display device without generating local stress concentration by dispersing the external forces applied to a display device section of a mobile type information processor and the like. SOLUTION: The display device (D) is provided with a cabinet (4) so as to cover the opposite side of an image display surface (SD) of the tabular display element (1) displaying an image and is provided with a buffer material (5) constituted by hermetic sealing with a film-like soft material in a bag form between the display element (1) and the cabinet (4).
