PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of easily rejecting solution leaked from an image formation part without leaking the solution to the outside of the image forming apparatus. SOLUTION: A developer receiving member 44 is installed under a developer tank 41, and an absorbing member 45 for absorbing developer is arranged on the developer receiving member 44. For instance, an oil absorber having excellent absorbing power, such as aliphatic hydrocarbon or silicone oil to be used as a liquid developer solvent, is preferably used as the absorbing member 45. A recessed part 47 having an area smaller than the bottom of the developer tank 41 is formed on a developer tank receiving surface 46 of the developer receiving member 44 and the absorbing member 45 is arranged on the recessed part 47.
