PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an unleaded gasoline which hardly gives vaporized gases from a fuel and assures excellent starting and driving properties. SOLUTION: The unleaded gasoline has (1) a Reid vapor pressure (RVP) of 45-65 kPa, (2) a 50% distillation temperature (T50) of 80-110°C, (3) a 70°C distillation amount (E70) of 18-40 vol%, (4) a 130°C distillation amount (E130) of 70-90 vol%, (5) an aromatic content of at most 40 vol%, (6) an olefin content of at most 30 vol%, (7) a benzene content of at most 1 vol%, (8) a sulfur content of at most 10 mass ppm, (9) a density at 15°C of 0.68-0.78 g/cm<SP>3</SP>, (10) a volume/liquid ratio (V/L) at 60°C of 25-50, (11) a research octane number (RON) of at least 89 and less than 97 and (12) a motor octane number (MON) of at least 79 and less than 85.
