PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terpene polymer which can be practically applied as antimicrobial agents, fungicide and pest repellents. SOLUTION: The terpene polymer having an average polymerization degree of 5-50 comprises a polymer of a terpene compound having a hydroxy group or a formyl group and a carbon-to-carbon double bond, or a copolymer of the terpene compound and a vinyl ester compound or a hydrolysate thereof. When the terpene polymer is a copolymer of a terpene compound and a vinyl ester compound or a hydrolysate thereof, copolymerization ratio of the terpene compound to the vinyl ester compound or vinyl alcohol is 1:2-1:25 (molar ratio).
