<p>A digital filter realizes frequency characteristic equivalent to that obtained when n basic digital filters are connected in cascade by using a small-size and low-cost circuit. The digital filter includes adders, multipliers, and delay devices as components of the basic digital filters and the delay devices are connected in n stages in cascade. The digital filter further includes: a digital filter circuit operating with the sample value input clock frequency multiplied by n; a feedback memory for storing output data of the digital filter circuit; an output memory for outputting the output data of the feedback memory outside; and selector means for selecting a sample value input or the feedback memory output data as an input of the digital filter circuit.</p> |
