The proposed magnetohydrodynamic pump contains a casing, with an operating duct, and inductors for generating running magnetic field. The casing contains two hermetically sealed box-shaped sections having a rectangular cross-section. The inductors are installed in the sections of the casing. The operative duct is formed by recesses made in the adjacent walls of the sections.
