<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve sealing trouble caused by rigidity degradation when a thin separator is applied to a cell, in a fuel cell stack. <P>SOLUTION: In this fuel cell composed by interposing sealing members 1 between separators 2a and 2b and electrolyte membranes 3 and by stacking them, spaces (g) of contact parts of the separators or the electrolyte membranes to the sealing members are uniformly set. Thereby, the sealing members having reactive force characteristics equal to one another can be used by stacking them in the stacking direction and deformation margins of compressive deformation parts of the sealing members can be equalized, whereby an excellent sealing property can be secured by avoiding the sealing reactive force bias in the stacking direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
