<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To leave a print history in a document management server when a client prints a document on a Web browser. <P>SOLUTION: The document management server 130 comprises a storage part for storing, by each document to be managed, a reference content being the content in a form which can be displayed on the Web browser 111 but cannot select a print menu, a content for printing being the content in a form which can select the print menu on the Web browser 111, and a job management table 330 for indicating the print job state of the content for printing; and a document management program 131 for allowing the client 110 to display the reference content of the document to which reference is requested from the storage part when receiving the reference request of the document from the client 110, and recording the print history in the job management table of the storage part when the document to which the reference is requested is printed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
