<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To install a pedal performance support device on a piano in a stable state from outside without the need to work the piano and to easily attach and detach the device. <P>SOLUTION: When a pedal holding part 46 holding the pedal 24 of the piano PN is connected to a pedal actuator 34 and the pedal actuator 34 is operated in a main body 30 of the pedal performance support device 100, the pedal 24 is driven through the pedal holding part 46. When the device is installed on the piano PN being a grand piano, a movable plate 62 is hidden below a pedal box 22 and an abutting plate 51 is made to abut on a front face 22a of the pedal box 22. The movable plate 62 is raised and a jack unit 61 is stretched between a floor face 25 and a lower face 22b of the pedal box 22 so as to generate repulsion.
