<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress spreading in a display caused by pressurizing in a touch panel operation in a liquid crystal display device with a touch panel integrated therewith. <P>SOLUTION: In the liquid crystal display device 10 with the touch panel integrated therewith, which has a touch panel 20 stuck to any of substrates 14, 16 disposed across a liquid crystal layer 12, distortion of the substrate 16 is suppressed by arranging columnar spacers 44 between the substrates 14, 16. In particular, the spreading of a displayed picture is effectively improved by making total cross sectional areas of the columnar spacers 1.2% or more of a total effective display area of the display device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
