PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the weight and the cost of an interior part for an automobile and simplify the mounting structure of the functional parts such as a shock absorbing pad or the like. SOLUTION: The interior parts (door trims) 10, 100 is composed of a foamed resin substrate 20 light in the weight and having shape retention property, the shock absorbing pad 30 assembled to the back surface of the foamed resin substrate 20, and the functional parts 60 such as a reinforcing rib 61, a clip mounting seat 62, and the shock absorbing pad 63 for an armrest. After the functional parts 30, 60 are insertedly set in a recessed part 422 of a lower forming mold 42, the foamed resin sheet S subjected to heat softening treatment is placed, and the foamed resin substrate 20 is formed to a predetermined shape by clamping the upper and lower molds 41, 42. The functional parts 30, 60 are melted on the molten surface of the foamed resin substrate 20, and the functional parts 30, 60 are firmly integrated to the back surface of the foamed resin substrate 20 by a mold clamping force of the upper and lower molds 41, 42.
