PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved treated soil structure which has reinforcing strips secured to a surface member, and to provide a structural unit of the same. SOLUTION: According to the treated soil structure, a surface member unit thereof is comprised of a main body (4) formed of an injection material, and a channel for the reinforcing strip (2) is formed at a location between two protruding points (6) in a rear surface (7) of the surface member unit. The channel includes two linear portions (8) which each make contact with the protruding point and position the strip into the same plane perpendicular to the rear surface; two curved portions (9) which are extended from the respective linear portions, and formed so as to divert the strip from a protruding surface; and one loop (10) connecting between the two curved portions in a manner diverting from the protruding surface.
