PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-stage enlarged diameter cast-in-place concrete pile capable of providing a large vertical supporting force in place of a diaphragm wall. SOLUTION: In this multi-stage enlarged diameter cast-in-place concrete pile having a plurality of enlarged diameter parts with a diameter larger than that of the shaft part of the pile in the longitudinal direction of the pile, the enlarged diameter parts are formed at positions where, when a vertical load acts on the pile, a vertical cylindrical sliding surface having a diameter equal to that of the enlarged part and an effective height two times or approximately two times the diameter of the enlarged diameter parts can be estimated for the enlarged diameter parts.
